What do you like about working at Motion Canada?
I quickly learned how great the culture is at Motion Canada after joining in 2019. We have a management group who truly cares about their people and is investing in them every day. The culture is exciting, too. We all work very hard to get results, but we make sure we have a great time doing it!

Plus there is always so much going on with the company and so much to learn that there is never a boring moment. So, coming from my previous workplace, which was strictly a distribution company where there were seasonal down times, this is a cool change.

Do you have any advice for anyone starting at Motion Canada?  
First of all: welcome! You have joined an amazing company and team. You have all the support you could need. From your local branch team to the corporate teams and, of course, your regional team, people are here to do exceptional work and will partner with you to help you succeed.

At first, things can seem overwhelming with all the product and service offerings we provide, but just get to know who everyone is and which levers to pull to get the help and support you need and the rest of it will come with time.  

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Africa – I am a huge animal lover and going on a safari in Africa is definitely on my bucket list!

Imagine you were given one million dollars. What are the first three things you would do with it?
First, I would make sure I was debt free. Then I would buy my uncle’s 1969 GTO convertible and then take off to Africa for a month! Then I would share some with my kids and invest the rest.

If you were an ice cream flavor, which would you be and why?
I would be chocolate because it’s my favourite and because it’s the best, of course!
